Moorestown

Although it looked great on the surface — including beautiful wainscoting — turned out to be hiding some problems that required us to take apart a lot of the house!

That wainscoting turned out to be poorly stained plywood. There were complex structural issues we needed to address. When even the architects and engineers could not identify a “fix”, Main Street Fine Homes came up with the appropriate solution.

New plans from the architect enabled us to keep the two-sided fireplace, add a “princess” bathroom to one of the bedrooms, and take a dark, cold kitchen and turn it into a family entertainment area with more space and high end appliances.

The yard was dotted with old-growth trees we really wanted to keep with the property. We were able to find an arborist who could prune back the trees and keep them alive.
